Sony Xperia Z6 Review

Image
The Sony Xperia Z6 is already in our sights and, despite the very recent launch of the  Sony Xperia Z5 , there's a good chance the handset will arrive during today's Mobile World Congress press conference. What's more, Sony operates a supersonic launch cycle that sees new flagship smartphones released every six months. As such, it’s expected that the Xperia Z6 will launch in the first half of 2016 – and probably this weekend – so we’ve rounded-up the latest Xperia Z6 news, rumours, and leaks – plus a bit of educated guesswork. The most recent rumours are that the Xperia Z6 display will be pressure-sensitive, just like the iPhone 6S, and run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It's also tipped that there will be five different Xperia Z6 variants. The next opportunity for a smartphone launch is MWC 2016, one of the year's biggest technology tradeshows, assured to host a number of high-profile product launches. But will the Sony Xperia Z6 launch at MWC? It...

Samsung Galaxy S6 Review

Image
The Samsung Galaxy S6 is available to buy now from  Samsung  and all major UK mobile operators. SIM-free it costs £599 with 32GB of storage or £660 with 64GB, while pricing for a 128GB version is coming soon. The device went on sale on 10 April 2015. Also see:  Samsung Galaxy S6 UK release date, price, specs and best deals .                                                                                                         By : techmag4pro Somewhat surprisingly, this means SIM-free the Samsung Galaxy S6 is actually more expensive than the  iPhone 6 , which costs £539 for the 16GB model, £619 for 64GB, and £699 for 128GB. Even on contract this is a pricey phone, so we recommend waiting a ...

Sony Xperia Z5 Review

Image
The Xperia Z line has been around for years, and looking back, the various models don’t deviate a great deal from each other. Sony was the first to make a waterproof flagship right out of the box, and has long supported high-resolution audio file formats like WAV and FLAC. The company also offers PlayStation cross-platform compatibility, content casting with Sony TVs, and various other features meant to keep it all in the family. Back in the ‘90s, Sony’s strategy would’ve been a self-fulfilling prophecy, but today, it’s a walled garden that doesn’t necessarily need walls. Even so, this is a well-crafted smartphone that’s somewhat overshadowed by the larger Xperia Z5 Premium. The 5.2-inch 1080p IPS display is vibrant and sharp, though the best design tweak is the frosted glass back. It is far less of a fingerprint magnet than its predecessors’ glossy glass back panels were. Sony also smartly integrated the nano SIM and Micro SD card tray under one flap instead of sep...

Lenovo S850 Review

Image
On the back is a glowing Lenovo logo whose colour you can customise -- cleverly, it can be set to glow different colours for different kinds of notifications. It feels like a light, decently built phone, with curved edges and a flat back. The white model is nothing exceptional, but the hot pink one will definitely turn heads. It has a better camera too, with 13 megapixels to the S860's 8, and a better 5-megapixel front camera for top-notch video calls. The only areas it undercuts the S860 are its RAM, with 1GB, and its battery, which is half the capacity at 2,000mAh. Both run the ageing  Android  4.2 Jelly Bean software, with an update likely soon after launch. Lenovo's custom skin isn't one of the best, removing the app drawer, so all your apps have to be kept on a home screen.

Samsung Galaxy E7 Review

Image
Samsung adds yet another mid-range device to its lineup with the  Galaxy E7 . With a plastic unibody, rounded edges and metal band, the Galaxy E7 doesn't stray too far from the standard Samsung design. The soft, matte back gave critics a relatively good grip on the otherwise smooth phone. At 139 grams, it is relatively lightweight and measures 5.9 x 3 x 0.3 inches. The Galaxy E7 sports a 5.5-inch, 720p Super AMOLED display. As expected of an AMOLED screen, experts note the excellent color reproduction, deep blacks, good viewing angles and overall vibrancy of the display. While its pixel density of 267ppi cannot compare to flagship phones, it was still sharp enough for most reviewers. They also add that touch was very smooth and responsive, making for a pleasant experience overall. ^ Equipped with a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM, it is no surprise that critics reported a smooth and lag free experience during basic tasks and when playing high end games....

SAMSUNG GALAXY E5 Review

Image
The camera and screen on this phone are wonderful. The processor is fast, the size of the screen is, in my opinion, perfect. (anything above is too big, this is a phone you can use comfortably) It's fast, it's smooth, it has great reception and the gps works great too (I track my bike runs with runtastic) The battery has lasted entire days of heavy use, I use my phone a lot and I'm considering leaving the powerbank at home, this baby can take 16 hours of intense use without any problems. Of course it's not the BEST phone out there, but for the price/quality ratio, I would buy this over an E5. If I could change one thing, I'd put the 3.5 jack on the left side (it's on the right and it gets in the way at times, but it's not really annoying) and I'd pull the volume buttons down, they're too high!

LG G5 Review

Image
The G5's design is very clean too, with only a single volume clicker and SIM-tray present on either side. The volume control suffers from having a very shallow push, but it's usable nonetheless. While LG has ditched the volume keys on the rear, the lock switch remains in the slightly unorthodox position just below the camera sensors. In my opinion it's far better to have all the buttons in the same spot, be it on the back or sides of a phone. Positioned as they are, I’m forced to move my hands around the G5 more than normal just to reach everything. WATCH: LG G5 video review

Huawei P9 Review

Image

iPhone 6S Review

Image
Apple's tagline for the iPhone 6S is 'the only thing that's changed is everything', highlighting that the brand knows this is a phone that looks an awful lot like 2014's model. It makes sense that Apple would try its hardest to show that, despite the handset looking identical to the  iPhone 6 , there have been loads of changes under the hood that make this an attractive phone in its own right. HTC ONE E9+ Review

Image
Introduction If you want HTC's highest-specced, big-screened QHD smartphone, the One E9+ is very likely the one you're looking for. Only the lack of the signature all-metal unibody saves the company's reigning flagship a good deal of embarrassment. t's quite hard to actually decide which precise model sits atop HTC's 2015 One lineup, and there may well be more than one correct answer. You have the M9, obviously, which has Qualcomm's latest chipset inside and the metal design to appeal to your sense of style, but sticks with a FullHD 5-inch screen. Midway up the size ladder, you'll find the 5.2-inch QHD M9+, which retains the metal unibody and adds a second camera on the back, as well as a fingerprint sensor, but opts for an arguably inferior Mediatek chipset. There's an almost identical ME version, which comes with a single rear camera, a...

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Review

Image
Introduction The Samsung Galaxy Note5 is the latest in the line that introduced us to the concept of a phablet in the first place. Following the Galaxy S-line's adoption of glass and metal, Samsung's taken the premium build to the Note series. All is not great, and productivity features have been scrapped, just like the in the mainstream lineup - the Note no longer offers replaceable battery and microSD expansion. The S-Pen is still here though, and big-screen lovers will appreciate the beautiful AMOLED display, multi-window or otherwise. For more watch this video :

Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime Review

Image
Introduction History has shown us that Samsung is notorious for giving some of its phones ridiculously long model names. Anyone remember the  Samsung Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch ? As much as we’d like the practice to stop altogether, it’s still something that’s well and alive today – like the  Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime  most recently, for example. With words like grand and prime, you’d envision something super spec’d, but alas, that’s not the case here, as it’s just an entry-level offering that aims to diversify Sammy’s portfolio to cover all segments of the smartphone space. HTC ONE A9 Review

Image
HTC ONE A9 Review HTC ONE A9 – DESIGN & FEATURES So, has HTC copied Apple – or, as HTC recently claimed, has Apple been copying HTC for years? Well, there's no denying that how the One A9's black-glass front tapers into the curved, grey aluminium body is pure iPhone. Even the layout of ports and buttons references the iPhone. You could argue that the two companies have reached the same point in an obvious design evolution – but I’m not convinced. Whether this is flattery or cynical opportunism on HTC's part, this is the closest to an iPhone I've seen Android phone get. SO WHAT ABOUT THIS PHONE DO YOU LIKE IT IF YES WRITE IT IN COMMENT AND SEE WHY AND DON'T FORGET TO SHARE IT IN FACEBOOK AND IN TWEETER

LG Xcam Review

Image
The X Cam's design is decidedly mid-range, with the all plastic body looking and feeling cheap, although it does feel solid and tapers to a 5.2mm thickness allowing it to fit nicely in the palm. I got my hands on the grey (or as LG like to call it, Titan Silver) X Cam, but it will also be available in white, gold and pink gold. The power/lock key is located on the right, with volume and the tray for a SIM card and microSD card on the left. The buttons are easy enough to reach, but they sit almost flush with the chassis and I found they could be a little tricky to find at times.

HTC 10 review

Image
2016 has been a fine year for smartphones. The  Samsung Galaxy S7 ,  LG G5  and  Huawei P9  have all been excellent devices and now it’s the turn of HTC. After a poor 2015 – both the  One A9  and  Desire 530  disappointed – I can safely say the Taiwanese company is back. The HTC 10 is a fantastic device. Probably the best HTC has ever crafted. It combines a lovely build with a strong set of software features to create one of the best Android experiences out there. All that I can say is that the  iPhone 7  better be something very special to match the Android big-boys this year. HTC 10 – DESIGN While the HTC 10 takes the brand’s flagship smartphone in a new design direction, it’s still very familiar. The front is stripped from the One A9, and the back is a tweaked and tuned version of the rear casing from the  One M9 . It’s far from original and looking at it face-on you’d be forgiven for confusing it with an iPh...

Moto Z Review

Image
The Moto Z is an Android phone with a new name that begins at the end of the alphabet, but is actually pioneering modular connectivity in a more robust way than its competitors. It's the world's thinnest phone at 5.19mm in so-called "thickness," and it feels incredibly thin to hold. This isn't another meaningless marketing stat, yet you shouldn't want it to  stay  so slim. There are already four practical, modular accessories – more than we have seen with the add-on-deprived  LG G5  – and they satisfyingly and securely attach to the back of this phone with magnets. Moto Z's "build out your smartphone" concept is fun and, importantly, its MotoMods are creative and well-designed. There's everything from a predictable (but essential) battery back, to a more wild pico projector. So let's go to watch video about this best phone !

Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga Review

Image
As far as laptop ranges go, there's very little introduction needed for the ThinkPad family. First produced by IBM more than twenty years ago, Lenovo acquired the entire range a decade later. It managed not only to keep the successful line going but more importantly infused some interesting features while sticking to the ThinkPad ethos, which was critical in terms of retaining existing customers. Which brings us nicely to the ThinkPad X1 Yoga Ultrabook (not to be confused with the  ThinkPad X1 Carbon  or the  ThinkPad X1 Tablet ), a fusion of the classic ThinkPad DNA with Lenovo's very own Yoga, a range that's only four-years-old but has been one of the most popular in the industry, and almost singlehandedly rekindled the 2-in-1 category. Hailed by Lenovo as the world's lightest 14-inch 2-in-1 business laptop, it comes at a price point that puts it squarely in a league of premium, high-end devices. Its  cheapest model  (Core i5-6200U processor, 14-...
